Yay! I'm glad things are going so well. I am recovering from a hip replacement so I have a small idea of what you are going through. Yes, I, too, try to celebrate the small victories - like putting on my socks. lol

Oh I'm thankfully past the "putting on my socks phse" but yes, I've celebrated that small win too. I had to get a stint out of my abdomen first though, which was past the fourth week. I'm with you there.

UNLV has degrees in conducting at Bachelor, Master, and PHD. You probably don't want to go full tilt there although UNLV has special perks for seniors. But I had a thought. UNLV still (or I should say again post COVID) the New Horizsons and Community Concert (see the continuing education catalog) bands. This is where student conductors practice. Maybe they would be open for conduction from a community member.

Thank you Jolie-- I'm thinking of the possibilities now because I'm still in a very careful (do not go into large crowds) stage still. But I will look into it. :) And yes, I qualify as a senior-- which is hard to believe.

Me too. I opened the door for an elderly lady the other day. Upon reflection I wondered if she might have been younger than me.

I was told by someone on one of my zoom calls that I look younger every day. LOL You've always looked younger too. :)
