The Gardener Collection
or the Green Man https://cyns-scribbles.printify.me/products
In Celtic mythology, the Green Man was a nature and fertility spirit that roamed the great forests. He represented life, death, and rebirth similar to dieties like Osiris, who followed the life cycle of planting and harvesting.
In this collection, I rename the Green Man to the Gardener, who carries a bag with him to scatter seeds. If you look closely you can see to dogs—one peeking out from his torso and one in the tree behind him.
In my life, my late hubby, Otto Tune who died Sept 19th, 2014, was the gardener. He even grew a small avacado tree in our living room when we were living in Germany. It bore fruit the year we had to leave.
