"To Life and Health"
I am alive today. Last week I got my second dose of the Pfizer Covid shot. I spent the rest of the week with a low-grade fever and stomach issues. The pharmacist had warned me that I might get a fever. It was the most common side-effect of the shot, but that it would be over in a week.
I hadn't had a problem with the first shot. Like flu shots, I had a sore arm for about two days. This second shot I slept a lot. So it feels like I lost an entire week. Thankfully, I hadn't scheuled any appointments for that week.
This week I will be doing a treadmill exercise test. I'm not overjoyed at the prospect of feel my heart beat out of my chest. I'll be doing the chemical exercise test.
One thing I've learned about health is that when I don't feel good, I lose that spark that drives my creativity.
So hoping for a better day.
