I Survived
So the only thing of note today is that I survived a Lexiscan Exercise Treadmill test.
I had to take the test so that I could get on the kidney transplant list. The last time I took a chemical treadmill test was in 2005. This test was very different and much quicker.
Still when they put the lexiscan in my I.V. my breath immediately shortened and my stomach felt heavy. It wasn't too much later that I could feel I became extremely nauseous.
Of course I told the tech. She kept checking to make sure I wasn't to the vomit stage. I did tell her that nausea was always my first symptom.
Anyway, it is over with-- and I am underly caffinated.
This time I felt well enough to drive myself home. I hope it will be ten years to never before I have to do one of those again.
