My creativity has had a practical bent the last few months. Maybe it is because I get cravings and maybe because when I do go shopping and look at the ingredients, I am appalled at all of the stuff we put into our bodies. Most of it is perservatives and not that good for the body.
So I was craving saltine crackers. I like to butter them or dip them. I even like to put peanut butter on them when I am on a peanut butter kick. Maybe soon I’ll be able to make my own peanut butter, but for now I hope that I’ll be okay using the store bought versions.
Although a little hard, these crackers soften up quickly in soup. I will make this recipe again. So here it is:
